A full day tour through the Big Five Hluhluwe / Umfolozi Game Reserve in KwaZulu-Natal. Once the hunting grounds of the famous Zulu chief Shaka, the Hluhluwe / Umfolozi Game Reserve is renown for its efforts in saving the White Rhinoceros from extinction and the magnificence of these first foothills off the coastal escarpment. White Rhino abound, and sightings of Elephant are not unusual. The Hluhluwe / Umfolozi Game Reserve also has Lion, Cheetah, Black Rhino, Leopard, Wild Dog, a large population of Giraffe and much more. Bird sightings may include Lesser Jacana, Lappet-faced Vultures, Bateleur Eagles, White-headed Vultures, Southern Banded Snake Eagles etc. The safari tour includes meals (breakfast and full braai lunch) and refreshments at one of the scenic picnic sites in the Hluhluwe / Umfolozi Game Reserve.
